Earlier today, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on SME, Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah magnanimously donated some medical equipments to the GburusCare Initiative. The equipments were presented to members of the GburusCare team at the State SME center.

During the presentation, Hon. Arinze, who celebrated his 33rd birthday recently by paying the school fees of over 120 Udi secondary school students in a heart touching show of love, remarked that he was spurred to contribute to the sustenance of the initiative given the organization and consistency with which the managers of the healthcare program had continued to traverse the length and breadth of Enugu State reaching out to old people.

He said “On Saturday, 1st of May 2021, I was opportune to support a medical outreach for senior citizens that was carried out in my community, Umuavulu in Udi Local Government Area, by a professional healthcare team from the GburusCare Initiative. My team and I covered the logistics, provided tent, food, power generator, etc., for the team. For me, ensuring that our aged parents received free medical attention such as dental care, blood pressure test, drug prescription among others are ways of giving back to my community. The turnout was massive and seeing our parents’ faces light up with joy made me glad. Today, I have donated these little equipments so that this good can get to more people.” He commended highly the impact of the GburusCare initiative so far, adding that love is what Gov. Ugwuanyi represents and love is what GburusCare is all about.

The GburusCare team appreciated his gesture as a creative encouragement and thanked the SME boss for his thoughtfulness and magnanimity.
