Just In: NECO Examinations hold in Enugu State.
Before now, the palpable fear that NECO Examinations won’t hold in Southeast states as a result of the sit-at-home order by IPOB was high.
However, we report that despite that, students of schools in Enugu State are writing the exams. Some school proprietors confirmed this recent development to our correspondent. Parents expressed their joy that their students were able to participate in the exam and joyfully appreciated the Enugu state government for also making this possible. A parent, Mrs Nnaji Chilo said “I was scared that my daughter may miss her exam today. I was scared because today’s paper is one that plays a huge role in determining whether she can move on to the university or not. I’m very delighted that the examination is holding peacefully and salute the government of Enugu State led by Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for making efforts to ensure the safety of students”.
Recall that we had earlier reported that the NECO Examination wasn’t postponed despite the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
