NAPPS Education Summit: Meet the Discussants, Most Rev. Prof. Igwebuike Onah, Ikeje Asogwa

As the Education summit to be organized by the Enugu State Chapter of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPPS, in conjunction with the Enugu State Ministry of Education, continues to get closer, the Executive Chairman of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), Chief Ikeje Asogwa, has been tipped to be one of the Summit’s discussants. The other is the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, Most Rev. Prof. Igwebuike Onah.

Recall that the Summit will seat about 3000 teachers, including principals and heads of schools from both the private and public schools in Enugu State.

Chief Ikeje Asogwa

Chief Ikeje Asogwa was formally an Estate manager in the private sector and was appointed as the Managing Director of Enugu State Housing Development Cooperation (ESHDC) by former Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime. He later became the Enugu State People’s Democratic Party Chairman. He would later be appointed the Executive Chairman of ENSUBEB by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, a position he holds till date.

Most Rev. Prof. Igwebuike Onah

Most. Rev. Prof. Igwebuike Onah is famed for his intellectual prowess and general resourcefulness as a Professor of Philosophical Anthropology, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Vice-Rector) of the Pontifical Urban University, Rome and Consultor to the Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops, Vatican City. He serves as the Chairman of the Governing Councils and Pro-Chancellor of two Universities, namely Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Enugu and Veritas University of Nigeria (VUNA), Abuja.

The Summit hosted by Enugu NAPPS and co-hosted by the Ministry of Education is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at The Base Event Center, and Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Law Faculty Auditorium, UNEC, Enugu, by 10am daily.
