Hundreds of youths, on Wednesday, from Gulumbe town under Birnin Kebbi local have defected to New Nigeria peoples party (NNPP).
The youths who are from different political parties in Kebbi state were received by party excos and House of Representative Aspirant Abubakar Aliyu Dangaladima at Gulumbe.
According to Aliyu, receiving defectors to their fold close to 2023 elections was an indication that NNPP has transformed into real third force on a rescue mission to bail Nigerians out from the shackles of poverty, hunger and insecurity.
“We will leave no stone unturned to ensure we clinch power to turn the dream of Nigerians into reality which is repositioning Nigeria to meet the expectations of Nigerians,” he said.
In a related development, screening of delegates for governorship primaries of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), held at the royal platform in Birnin Kebbi.
