The Special Adviser on Agriculture to Enugu State Governor, Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe has described Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as a Pillar of Peace in the state.

He made the commendation in Enugu, days after the ruling PDP in the state ended her primary elections.

Speaking to our correspondent, he upheld the Governor’s political sagacity as being responsible for the conduct of a peaceful, smooth and accepted PDP primaries in the state.

Expressing delight over the election of Barr. Peter Mbah, a renowned administrator and captain of industry, he alluded to it as a step in the right direction.

He said, “I congratulate my Boss, the Pillar of Peace in Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for the conduct of a peaceful, smooth and accepted PDP primaries in the state; it was a display of political sagacity.

“Your Excellency, your emergence as the PDP Senatorial candidate for Enugu North Senatorial Zone is worthy of celebration. I am sure you will continue to represent Enugu State and the Igbo nation well.

“I am delighted about the emergence of Barr. Peter Mbah as the PDP Enugu guber flag-bearer. It is a move in the right direction for a better Enugu state”.

He also commended the executives of the state chapter of the party led by Hon. Augustine Nnamani for what he called their “superlative roles in conducting a free and fair primaries”.

“I also send my hearty felicitations to Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani on his emergence as the PDP candidate for Enugu East Senatorial Zone. You have always stood tall in representing Enugu East and Ndi Enugu State at large.

“Congratulations to Rt. Hon. Nnoli Nnaji and all other House of Representatives candidates. Congratulations too, to Okey Mbah and other Enugu State House of Assembly candidates in the forthcoming elections”, he said.
