…Congratulates him on his appointment

The State Executive Committee of Peter Mbah Grassroots Canvassers (PMGC), led by the Director General, Sir Steve Avah Esq., Wednesday, September 7, 2022, paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of Barr. Peter Mbah Campaign Organisation at the Campaign Office, Independence Layout, Enugu.

In a statement by Chris Enebe, the visit which was to congratulate the newly appointed Director General over his well deserved appointment by the PDP Governorship Candidate, Barr. Peter Mbah, was part of the group’s efforts to work in close collaboration with the office of the DG and other critical stakeholders towards delivering on their mandate to ensure that come 2023, the good people of the state vote massively for Barr Peter Mbah and other candidates of PDP.

The DG of Peter Mbah Grassroots Canvassers, Sir Steve Avah, in his speech, congratulated Chief Ikeje Asogwa, the “Ide of Iheaka” on his appointment which he described as well deserved and strategic, adding that Chief Ikeje’s style of excellence and result – orientation has distinguished him in the state and made him indispensable in the scheme of things.

Chief Avah went further to state that the group is convinced that the DG will deploy his wealth of experience, political savvy,  competence, capacity, energy and well known never-say-die commitment to duty towards ensuring the success of Barr. Peter Mbah in March 2023.

He equally assured the DG that with  Peter Mbah Grassroot Canvassers and the teeming supporters of Barr. Mbah whose popularity has been on the upward trajectory, that 2023 is a done deal. Sir Steve Avah assured the DG that his group will work closely with him and will swing into full action when governorship campaings commence on October 12, 2022.

In his response, the DG Peter Mbah Campaign Organisation, Chief Asogwa, welcomed Chief Steve Avah and his team to his new office and thanked them for the timely visit. He expressed satisfaction with their visit and mission which he said will promote the good cause of PDP and the Governorship Candidate of the Party, Barr. Peter Mbah which according to him is geared towards the progress of the state and the welfare of the good people of Enugu State.

In his words; “Barr. Peter Mbah is people focused. In line with that, this Organization will receive every group willing to be part of this movement which is already on course with outstretched arms.” There will be no discrmination, he further stated.

Another highpoint of the occasion was the handing over of the group’s letter of congratulations to Chief Ikeje by the DG of the group, Sir Steve Avah Esq.

Chief Dan Nwomeh, a key member of Barr. Peter Mbah’s media team joined Chief Ikeje to receive the group.
