Again,gunmen have attacked another Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) office in Imo State. This time,the hoodlums was said to have razed part of the INEC office at Oru west Local Government Area of the State.
The State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) Sylvia Agu, in a statement, said the hoodlums attacked the INEC office at about 4 am, yesterday.
The attack is coming barely two days after the hoodlums attacked the commission’s office at Orlu council area, but was prevented from being razed by the police in the State who responded swiftly.
However, the state police spokesperson, Michael Abattam confirmed the incident but said it was not razed.
