Chukwude Emmanuel Ikechukwu passes on at 76

Death has occurred of Mr. Chukwude Emmanuel Ikechukwu, a citizen of Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. He is to be buried on 4th August, 2023, at his home town Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Mr. Chukwude Emmanuel Ikechkwu died at St. Charles Boromew Hospital, Onitsha on 1st June, 2023. Until his death, he was a retiree, formely a staff of Anambra State Education Commission, Onitsha Zonal Office where he rose to the height of a Zonal Director of Education, Post Primary School Service Commission, Onitsha Zone. He was a scholar, a seasoned administrator and true gentleman who demonstrated enviable passion for his job.

During his 35years of teaching experience, he was a classroom teacher (January 1972 – August 1996), a Principal (September 1996 – November 2000) and a Supervising Principal (December 2000 – February 2007).

He became a staff of St. Christopher’s Junior Seminary 3-3, Onitsha in 2007 where he was later the Dean of Studies, Internal Supervisor Senior Classes, Academic Adviser and Vice Principal Academics for nine years.

He concluded his final journey in the teaching field in 2022 at Glory School, Onitsha where he taught Biology and Fishery.
