Ex member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Barrister KGB Oguakwa and family have fixed Thursday, July 27, 2023 for the burial of their late mother, Professor Mrs. Theresa Oguakwa.

Per the schedule of the final rites of passage released by the Professor J. U. Oguakwa Family, the obsequies will commence with a Wake on Wednesday, 26th July 2023, by 5.00pm at Inyi, Oji-River L.G.A; and a simultaneous Vigil Mass on the same date by 6.00pm at Aarons Place, 17 Ibusa Avenue, Independence Layout, Enugu, to be followed by a Burial Mass on Thursday, (Eke), 27th July, 2023 by 10.00am, at Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, Housing Estate, Abakpa, Enugu; and her Internment & Funeral Rites at Oguakwa’s Vaults and at Central School Field, Umuome, Inyi Town, Oji-River L.G.A., Enugu State.

An Outing Mass Service will hold on Sunday, July 30, 2023 by 10.00am at Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, Enugu.

Survived by her husband and former Deputy Vice-Chancellor U.N.N. Professor Jim Oguakwa, the late Professor Mrs. Theresa Oguakwa, also mother to Medical Doctor Ifesinachi Oguakwa, and Industrial Chemist Nwamaka Oguakwa, passed on aged 77.
