The All Progressives Congress on Wednesday released a supplementary list expanding the leadership and membership of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

In a statement signed by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the party said the additional appointments cut across various directorates, sectoral groups, mobilisation structures and operational units of the Council.

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases a supplementary list of leadership and membership of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), expanding the composition of the Council ahead of the 2027 general election,” the statement read.

The party reiterated its commitment to effective coordination among the different components of the PCC as preparations for the 2027 general election gather pace.
The supplementary list builds on earlier versions of the Council.

The initial membership was unveiled in August 2026 with President Tinubu as Chairman, Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as Vice Chairmen, former Zamfara Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari as Director-General, and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as Secretary.

A revised list issued in mid-October 2026 broadened the structure further, incorporating a “rainbow coalition” approach that brought in high-profile figures from outside the core APC fold.

These included Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike (named campaign coordinator for Rivers State and the FCT), Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke (Osun coordinator), and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo (Anambra coordinator), among others.

The Council was formally inaugurated on 14 October 2026 at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Subsequent expansions introduced additional directorates covering election planning and monitoring, infrastructure mobilisation, health sector engagement, civil society, new media, extractive industries, entertainment, security and intelligence, artisan mobilisation, labour relations, faith-based groups and other specialised units.

Wednesday’s supplementary list continues that process of enlargement, adding more leaders and members to strengthen nationwide coordination and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the general election.

The full details of the new appointments were released alongside the statement via the party’s official channels. Punch
