There is heavy security in Abuja with the presence of soldiers who have mounted various security checkpoint in and around the Federal Capital Territory.
This is coming just as the 102 Guards Battalion came under attack late Thursday evening.
Daily Sun gathered that Soldiers from the Guards Brigade, Army Headquarters Garrison, Defence Headquarters Garrison, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Air Force and troops from army operations accords the country have taken over the entire security of the FCT to foil any attack by terrorists who have listed some places as targets of attack.
Already all the entry and exit areas into the FCT, have been taken over by the soldiers who are conducting a stop and search operations to track escaping terrorists.
Daily Sun gathered that the operations which started this evening has yielded positive results with the arrest of some persons suspected to be terrorists and informants.

It was also gathered that all known criminals hotspots in the FCT, are being razed.
