Tributes pour in as Ex Lawmaker, Paul Nnajiofor buries wife October 20

Following the demise of late Mrs. Vivian Oluchukwu Nnajiofor, JP, wife of Ex Enugu Lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor Ononenyi, on July 9, 2023, after a brief but serious illness, aged 45, tributes have continued to pour in from Nigerians of all walks of life.

The late Nnajiofor, whose burial activities will commence with a service of songs this Tuesday, October 17, 2023, by 5pm at Hon. Paul Nnajiofor’s Enugu residence, followed by her funeral service and interment on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Late Isaiah Nnajiofor’s compound, Mbulu Owo community, Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway, Nkanu East LGA, Enugu State by 10am, was described by many as a woman of virtue whose commitment to her husband and family earned her the sobriquet Osodieme

The governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, while mourning her loss prayed God to console her husband, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor, children and other members of her family.

Ex Senate President, Sen. Ken Nnamani, GCON; Former governors of Enugu State, Barr. Sullivan Chime and Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi also prayed God to give the Deceased’s family the fortitude to bear the loss.

While Capt. Evarest Nnaji noted that the entire Nkanu nation will miss her, a former member of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. USA Igwesi described her as “an amiable wife and sister”.

Others who sent in their tributes include the Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uchenna Ugwu; the immediate past Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi; Chief Ikeje Asogwa; Dr. Samuel Onyishi; HRH Igwe Ezeudo Abel Nwobodo; among numerous others.
