The newly sworn in Enugu State Hon. Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, has promised to ensure the development of a robust justice system in the state, optimize service delivery and see to the actualization of the mandate of the Ministry in line with the vision and core values of the Governor Peter Mbah led administration.
The Attorney General made this known during his maiden official meeting with the State Legal Officers at the conference hall of the Justice Ministry, Three Arms Zone, Independence Layout, Enugu.
In his opening remarks, he appreciated the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Directors and Legal Officers of the Ministry of Justice for their punctuality and diligence to work.
Enumerating meritocracy of ideas, team spirit, respect and excellence as the vision and core values of the state under the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Udeh charged them to be resourceful and resolute in discharging their duties, without fear or favour.

He expressed his commitment to build and improve the capacity of Enugu State Ministry of Justice to set the pace in the country.
Part of the highpoints of the session included remarks from the Solicitor General, Director of Public Prosecution, Director Civil Litigation, Director Appeals, Chairman, Law Officers’ Association of Nigeria (LOAN) Enugu State Branch and other legal officers, followed by a tour of the Ministry of Justice complex led by the Solicitor General brought the session to an end.
Recall that Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh was sworn in as a Commissioner by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, following his successful screening by the state House of Assembly.
He has a versatile legal professional background in advocacy, academics and consultancy, in Nigeria and globally.
