Rising from a largely successful party primary elections, the Enugu State Honorable Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Hon. Ugwunta, David Okelue Ph.D., has congratulated the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on his emergence as the PDP candidate for Enugu North Senatorial zone, describing Ugwuanyi’s leadership style as second to none.

In a congratulatory statement signed by him and made available to our Enugu correspondent, he also congratulated the Enugu state PDP Gubernatorial flag-bearer, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for successfully clinching his party’s ticket and the choice of Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai as his running mate.

Describing the process as being successful, free, fair and credible, he enjoined other contestants that didn’t make it through the Primaries to see it is a win for everyone.

“I felicitate with the Governor of Enugu State, a leader par excellence, one whose leadership style is second to none, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on his emergence as the PDP candidate for Enugu North Senatorial Zone. I pray that the good Lord will continue to uphold you in sound health and wisdom.

“I equally congratulate the Chairman of the PDP, Enugu State, Hon. Augustine Nnamani, for organizing a successful, free, fair and credible primary elections.

“On the other hand, I congratulate the Enugu PDP Gubernatorial flag-bearer, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on his victory at the primaries and the choice of Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai as his running mate. I am confident that this team will definitely build on the legacies of our Dear Governor.

“Further, I congratulate Chief Osita Ngwu, Rt. Hon. Dr. F.S.A. Uzor, & Rt. Hon. Barr. Chima Obieze for their emergence as the Party flag-bearers for Enugu West Senatorial Zone, Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency, and Ezeagu Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, respectively. In addition, I congratulate all flag-bearers of the PDP Enugu State, in their various positions.
